This Week
I don't know where you are right now. Maybe you're working hard, building something, going through your own season of growth. But I want you to know — I prayed for your peace today. I prayed that wherever you are, you feel covered. That God's hand is on your life even when you can't see it. I'm over here doing the same thing. Growing. Trusting. Waiting. And believing that when we finally meet, it will all make sense.
Woke up this morning with so much peace. Even in the waiting, there is so much beauty. God is doing something in me that I couldn't see a year ago. Grateful for this season — even the hard parts. 🌸
Me: God, I'm ready. God: I know. Me: So… Me: God? Me: Hello? 😂 His timing is not our timing and honestly? That's probably a good thing. Trust the process, sis.
Lord, I pray for the man You have set apart for me. Protect him. Strengthen him. Draw him closer to You in this season. Give him clarity, peace, and purpose. Let him be a man after Your own heart — and let me be a woman worthy of the love You've designed for us. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
The Proverbs 31 woman wasn't waiting around doing nothing. She was building, creating, investing, serving, laughing. She was LIVING. And her husband trusted her completely. That's the kind of woman I want to be — not just waiting for love, but becoming someone who is ready for it. This season is preparation, not punishment.
I've had moments where I almost settled. Where I almost convinced myself that 'good enough' was good enough. But something in me — the Holy Spirit, I believe — kept saying 'not yet.' And I'm so glad I listened. Because you deserve a woman who chose to wait for the real thing. And I deserve a man who did the same. We're worth the wait — both of us.
There's something about getting dressed up for church when you're single that hits different. No one to impress. Just me and God. And honestly? It's one of my favorite feelings. This season has taught me to enjoy my own company — and that's a gift I'll carry into my marriage.
My standards: loves God, has peace, communicates, is kind, has a plan, makes me laugh. People: 'You're too picky.' Me: 'I'm too blessed to settle.' 💅 Know your worth, sis. Then add tax.
Today I prayed for my future husband's healing. Because I know he's been through things. We all have. And I want us to come together as two whole people — not two broken people hoping the other one fixes them. Lord, heal him where he's been hurt. And keep healing me too. 🙏
